Well FX has come and gone, but WOW what a ride.
It was great! Lots of guests, lots of deals, and lots of fun.
Unlike years past, this year I was actually working the show. I was helping fellow board member Nakanari promote designer toys. We set up the booth on Friday night and right away started getting tons of questions regarding our displays. Here's a few pictures...
Here's the booth.
On display we had works from various artists and companies...
Twink by artists Kelly & Erin Carty (www.twinktoy.com).
MyPlasticHeart, an on-line retailer (www.myplasticheart.com) had their exclusive Twilight MAD'L and Mini Vandal Bear & Mini Vandal Cat on display.
The Axtrx (pronounced Ahks-Tricks) and "Bunnywith Tentacles" were present courtesey of Rock America (www.rockamerica.com).
A huge hit at the show were these plush toys by Shawnimals (www.shawnimals.com). The Dero Bear and Blue Booted Glamour Cat by Strangeco (www.strangeco.com), were also popular.
Also on site was a local artist, Dave Quiles, from Outta My Mind Creations, showcasing some of his work.
The cooler than ice Kuma Bears from Kuma Central (www.kumacentral.com) were there as well.
And last, but not least, Nakanari was on hand showing off his works.
Aside from showing off his work, Nakanari was also promoting his FX Exclusive figure.

Now for helping, Nakanari presented me with a set of Misfits of Nakanari pins. I believe 1 of only 4 sets in exisitence. [img]rolleyes.gif[/img]
Aside from the Nakanari booth, the show was great lots of people showed up.

Look who I met...
I also met this cool artist, RAK, (www.rakgraphics.com). I don't know why, but I just loved his work, so I purchased some cool cards from him.
Out of all of them, these are my favoritesm but I do like them all.
He also drew this up for me, which I absolutely LOVE.
He's not the only artist that had interesting artwork, I also purchased these...
Now, the Green Lantern, Lady Death, and She-Hulk I only got because the artist was a friend of Nakanari and we had hung out a bit, so when I went to buy the Spawn print for $5, he threw in all the others for free.
Cool stuff!

Any new Mars-1 or Todd Schorr stuff on the horizon?
Now... onto the HAUL!! I got a ton of cool stuff.
Picked these guys up for $3 a piece.
Also scored these guys for $1 a piece... the one on the right was painted by Nakanari there at the show.
Also found these guys for a great price.
And a variant X-23, which looks so much better than the regular one.
Scored some MOTU stuff I was looking for.
And I added 2 more pieces to my Muppet collection
Now if I could only find a Lips, I'll be all set.

Adding this to my collection means I'm only missing a Stealth Iron Man. YAY!!
The wife saw this and thought it was cute, so we got it. Unfortunately I cut off her feet in this picture, and they are the best part. She has little red spikes all the way around them.
Stopped at Wal-Mart on the way to the con and found this guy. Which was cool because he was going for double there.
